Etymologia
Aglyptodactylus: gr. negatywny przedrostek α a „bez”[4]; γλυπτης gluptēs „rzeźbiony, rżnięty”, od γλυφω gluphō „rzeźbić, drążyć”[5]; δακτυλος daktulos „palec”[6].
