Allocyclops arenicolus – gatunek widłonoga z rodziny Cyclopidae^[1]. Opisał go w 1956 roku brytyjski biolog Geoffrey Fryer, nadając mu nazwę Metacyclops arenicolous^[2]. Miejsce typowe to jezioro Niasa w południowo-wschodniej Afryce^[2].
