David Lynn Thomas (ur. 14 czerwca 1953 w Miami, zm. 23 kwietnia 2025 w Brighton and Hove) – amerykański piosenkarz i autor tekstów mieszkający w Wielkiej Brytanii[1]. Był jednym z członków założycieli krótkotrwałego zespołu proto-punkowego Rocket from the Tombs (1974–1975), w którym grał pod pseudonimem „Crocus Behemoth” oraz post-punkowej grupy Pere Ubu (1975–82, następnie od 1987 do swojej śmierci w 2025). Wydał również kilka solowych albumów. Chociaż był przede wszystkim piosenkarzem, czasami grał na fisharmonii, puzonie, musette, gitarze lub innych instrumentach.

Thomas miał charakterystyczny, wysoki głos - Emerson Dameron opisał śpiew Thomasa jako „Jamesa Stewarta uwięzionego w oboju”[2], a Greil Marcus pisał: „Głos pana Thomasa jest głosem mężczyzny mamroczącego w tłumie. Myślisz, że mówi sam do siebie, dopóki nie zdasz sobie sprawy, że mówi do ciebie”[3].
