Długość ciała 23 cm, masa ciała 23–35 g (dotyczy L. arborea)^[4].

Etymologia

Zdrobnienie < francuska onomatopeja „Lulu” nadana lerce przez de Buffona w drugiej połowie XVIII wieku^[5].
