The House of the Dead 2 jest kontynuacją gry o tym samym tytule. Gracz wciela się w postać tajnego agenta, który ma wyeliminować Dr. Curiena oraz hordy zombie[1].

Gra została stworzona w trójwymiarowej oprawie graficznej[1].
